Steamroller Blues and Using a Capo

We’ve learned how to play the 12-bar blues song,

“Steamroller Blues” written by James Taylor  using

the E, A  and B7 chord forms.  You can also move

those chord forms up the guitar neck to the key

of  G by using a capo  on the third fret. By placing

the capo on the third fret, and playing the E,  A

and B7 chord forms, you are now playing G, C

and D7 chords!

Try it with this video.  If you don’t own a capo,

you can play along with regular G, C and D7 chords.
